Oooooooklahoma

Our time in Oklahoma was brief but fun!! We had more than our fair share of Braums, played outside and danced for hours!! Sammie learned to ride her tricycle and Dee followed his Paps around like a sweet little puppy. 

Apparently I have deprived them of sprinkler fun!! 

Sammie and Bitty did several wardrobe changes at Tutus house. 

Sammie also dressed her brother.

The DDI which deserves its own post later was fabulous and Sammie LOVED it!! 

She was worn out!!!

So happy we were able to make this trip happen. Now back to school and learning the ropes of our new state!!!

More Disney!

 After we went back to the hotel to nap, I had to head to Epcot for classes with my students.
Daddy, Sammie and the cousins did some swimming before meeting us.

 I am SO MAD that I didn't have room on my phone for pics and my camera was packed away. Sammie was a DELIGHT at Epcot. She sang and danced for all sorts of strangers and even stayed up WAY past bedtime to watch the fireworks. She loved them!! And... I got no good photos. I suck. 

The next day we decided to spend the 1st half of the day at the hotel pool and taking it easy.

 Sammie was a hoot in the kiddie pool! Mommy didn't get to play too much since she had a broken foot but got to take lots of pictures!!

 While Sammie and Daddy took the worlds longest nap... Mommy hit the bus with her dancers! Thanks to Angela for keeping Baby Dee that day!!

 The SCD Dancers were a HUGE hit with the crowd at Disney!! So much fun!!

After the show we hit a restaurant from dinner (where Sammie was on her WORST behavior EVER!) and then played in the rain for a bit while waiting on the insanely slow Disney Bus.

Ballerina's First Competition

Just a short 3 weeks after Baby Dee was born, my SCD kiddos went to dance competition. 

Ballerina and I decided to brave the scene and go cheer them on. 

As we normally do when we take girl trips, we stopped at Starbucks. 

Ballerina got to buy herself a little gift at the dance shop. She selected a purse that looks like a tutu! 

A little snack break to keep us from running out onto the stage!

Tutu might have allowed Ballerina to put on REAL makeup during the last day of a 4 day event. 

And yes, we are creating a little star!

Recital Time in OKLA!

Unfortunately for Ballerina, we had to head down to Ardmore the day her Daddy was set to come home from his trip. It was the first day of recital week at SCD and that is NO JOKE peeps!

I packed Ballerina up and off we went!

 

I had rehearsal that night but when I got home... I found my angel!

 

And yes, I realize she was not exactly a performer in the recital... but it was her first recital. Sooooo...

I happened to make sure she got a cast shirt!

 

 It was an exhausting week. BUT... the show was amazing (as always) and my Ballerina was fabulous!!

SCD Fun!

As many of you know... I am obsessed with my dance kiddos!

Here are a few pics of them recently!!

The 2nd Week of July I went back to work and Sammie came with me!! Well, kind of!

I had a week long Summer Dance Workshop in Ardmore and Sammie came to Ardmore. We had a blast and it was the first time most of my students got to meet her.

The first day of workshop was a blast. I left Sammie with my mom all day and this is what I came home to.

Sammie's Grandmother had done a little shopping. We love our new KickyPants sleeper.

The 2nd day of workshop I only had to teach one class, so I took Samantha to the studio with me for a bit... we watched some cheerleading and pom classes. 

 She fell asleep posing like the cheerleaders! Ha!!

On Day 3 of workshop, I took Sammie and she stayed in the office with my mom. We take out quilt from Grammy everywhere. As you can see, she LOVES it.

 She wore her tennis shoe socks for Miss Michelle's Hip Hop Class. :)

Sammie will sleep anywhere... and apparently, so will my students! They make great babysitters, dont they? Love you girls!!

We had a great week in Ardmore but were very happy to get back to Norman and see Daddy. He missed his baby girl so much he got up for the 2am bottle just to cuddle!! Awe...
