The 2nd Week of July I went back to work and Sammie came with me!! Well, kind of!
I had a week long Summer Dance Workshop in Ardmore and Sammie came to Ardmore. We had a blast and it was the first time most of my students got to meet her.

The first day of workshop was a blast. I left Sammie with my mom all day and this is what I came home to.
Sammie's Grandmother had done a little shopping. We love our new KickyPants sleeper.

The 2nd day of workshop I only had to teach one class, so I took Samantha to the studio with me for a bit... we watched some cheerleading and pom classes.
She fell asleep posing like the cheerleaders! Ha!!

On Day 3 of workshop, I took Sammie and she stayed in the office with my mom. We take out quilt from Grammy everywhere. As you can see, she LOVES it.
She wore her tennis shoe socks for Miss Michelle's Hip Hop Class. :)

Just playing around early one morning before we head to the studio!

Sammie will sleep anywhere... and apparently, so will my students! They make great babysitters, dont they? Love you girls!!

We had a great week in Ardmore but were very happy to get back to Norman and see Daddy. He missed his baby girl so much he got up for the 2am bottle just to cuddle!! Awe...

Water Baby

Sammie sure does love swimming!! The week before Mommy went back to work at the dance studio, we went to Ardmore and got to take a dip in Poppy's Pool!!

We walked down to Linda and David's house and Sammie was a little toasty.
She got over the crying really fast.
Thank you to Cousin Danielle for her super cute bathing suit!! We love the ruffles!! And that matching hat was a must in the 113 degree Oklahoma sun!

Sammie and Daddy had a fabulous time in the pool. This girl may be a swimmer!! I mean, bath time is her favorite time of day!!

 Check out my tongue Daddy!!

Scotty with Addison and Brian with Samantha! Those Daddies sure do get attached to their baby girls!

After our fun day at the pool, we bathed and went back to "The Gods" house for dinner!
Sammie tends to pass out after bath time. So she spent dinner sleeping in her stroller.

What a spread we had!! Thanks for the super fun day God-Family!!
We love you!!

Just a little photolicious post of things we did that created fun memories during weeks 4 - 6!

Sammie turned 1 month old in Ardmore while Grammy was visiting.

She got to meet some of Mommy's best friends. Sweet Pea and Lil Red!!

Sweat Pea and Lil Red decided to break out Pappy's guitars during their visit. It was awesome!

Sammie had her first babysitter while Mommy taught dance for a week in Ardmore.

We discovered how to break free from a swaddle.

Daddy learned that if you wake up the baby just to say hi, you may not get to eat your dinner in peace. :)

Ballerina learned to make some funny faces...

And one day Ballerina even got to go watch the dancers at OUs Ballet Intensive, so we put her in the proper outfit of course!

More fun exciting photos and stories to come!

Grammy is Here!!

Just 1 day after Grandpa Brown headed home, we got another visitor!
GRAMMY!

This is love people!!

Grammy partaking in Sammie's favorite activity... EATING!
And Ballerina looking fabulous in her sleeper from Grammy.
We had a very hard time getting Sammie to burp in the early days... good thing Grammy was a pro!
She taught Daddy all the tricks!
Grammy sure does give good snuggles!

Half way through Grammys week in Oklahoma, we headed down to Ardmore to see my parents. And in true Crites style they threw a party. This was one of the first times (and really one of the very few so far) that Ballerina did not really corporate. She was a tad fussy. Not too bad though.

Still looking pretty darn cute at the party!

The boys cookin' up the kabobs!!

 Precious girl!
Hangin' with great-grandma, Mimi & Uncle Coco.
Happy 1 Month Birthday!!

Exhausted after a long 2 days of meeting friends and partying.

Just hangin' out on Pappy's porch for a lil morning coffee.
 Proud Daddy.
Uncle Coco getting his snuggles.
Grammy taking Ballerina for a walk around the neighborhood!
Last minute snuggles from Grammy.

Thank you for coming and teaching us so many great tricks of the trade!! We miss you and cannot wait to see you again really soon!!

Grandpa Brown comes to town!!

After our first week alone with Ballerina, our string of visitors began.
First up... Grandpa Brown and Sue!

They arrived late in the evening on a Tuesday. Brian went to pick them up from the OKC Airport, while Ballerina and I got all pretty. Well, the Ballerina got pretty.

The first meeting of Grandpa and Sammie!

Look at that!! So tiny. Just 2 1/2 weeks old!!

What a help!! Feeding her already!! And obviously she is in love!!
On their first day we went to one of our favorite restaurants on Campus Corner, Blackbird. Brian met us for lunch and the Ballerina was super good!!
Ballerina looking really surprised while we visit Brian's favorite store, 405 Imports

Before the heat of July took over!! We were able to entertain and have 1 meal outside. Thank you to Sue for cooking!! This new Mommy was way too tired.
While we ate dinner on the back porch, Ballerina tried out her new mosquito net!

Someone turned 3 weeks old during the Grandpa Brown visit!! Sill so tiny!

Thank you to Sue & Grandpa Brown for watching Ballerina for a long 3 hours so Mommy could go get her hairs did!! It was much needed!!

A Norman staple, The Mont. Ballerina having her first swirl at a young 3 weeks old!

Out to eat at a fabulous place in Norman. If you're in town... check out Local! We love it!!

Cuddling with Grandpa Brown during his last night in town.

We had a great time with Grandpa Brown and Sue. They were a lot of help and we learned a bit more about being parents as well. Thank you guys for coming!! We cannot wait to see you again soon!!
